Delete your account

You can delete your own account at any time, from the phone app or the web app. No e-mail or call is needed.

• Salzee mobile app: More → Settings → Delete my account, type DELETE, confirm.
• Web app: your avatar → My profile → Delete my account, type DELETE, confirm.

You are signed out immediately on every device and the deletion is applied straight away.

• If you are the only person in your company: the whole company workspace is deleted — leads, contacts, conversations, documents, payments records, files, invoices and your subscription. This cannot be undone.
• If teammates remain: your login, name, mobile number, e-mail, photo, devices and sessions are removed and you are taken out of every workspace. Records you created for the business (leads, notes, quotations, calls) stay with the company because they belong to it, with your name replaced by “Deleted user”.
• Owners: if you own a company that still has other users, make another admin the owner first (Settings → Users), then delete your account.

• Files in object storage are purged within 30 days by the scheduled clean-up.
• Database backups that contain your data expire within 30 days.
• Tax invoices for payments you made are kept for the period Indian tax law requires (currently 8 years) and contain only the billing details on the invoice.

• Disconnect inside Salzee: Settings › Integrations › Meta › Disconnect. The access tokens and the Facebook account identity are removed immediately and the connected Pages, Instagram accounts and WhatsApp numbers stop syncing.
• Remove Salzee from Facebook: Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Salzee → Remove. Facebook tells us, and we remove the same data.
• Data deletion request from Facebook: if you ask Facebook to delete your data when removing Salzee, you get a confirmation code and a status page at salzee.in/data-deletion.

Leads and messages the business collected through its own Pages, ad forms and WhatsApp number are the business’s records and stay with the company, as described in section 2.

If you no longer have access to the app, write to [email protected] from the e-mail or mobile number on the account. We verify the request and complete it within 7 working days. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data generally.
